Surf Essaouira
Surfen in Essaouira ist ganzjährig an einer sandigen Atlantikbucht möglich: Essaouira Kitesurf School (auch Essaouira Surf Camp School) bietet Gruppenkurse ab 30€ für 2 Stunden inklusive Board und Neopren.

Surf conditions in Essaouira
Surf Essaouira works year-round. The main sandy bay is the friendly classroom: waist-to-chest whitewater on most days, soft enough for first stand-ups. Mornings are usually cleaner before the afternoon trade wind fills in.
Winter (roughly October–April) brings stronger Atlantic swell — better for progression and longer rides. Summer is smaller and warmer, ideal for beginners and families. Water sits around 17–20°C; a 3/2mm wetsuit covers most of the year.
Intermediates head to La Couronne for punchier peaks, or book a day south to Sidi Kaouki. Tide changes the take-off zone — coaches pick the right pocket of the bay for your level. Soft-tops, funboards and shortboards are ready to rent when you are not in a lesson.
