The best time for surfing in Essaouira is generally from October to April when the Atlantic swells are most consistent. However, the bay offers rideable waves throughout the year, especially for beginners in the mornings before the wind picks up.
The best period for kitesurf in Essaouira is from May to September, with strong constant winds (20–30 knots). The flat waters in the bay are ideal for beginners, while advanced riders enjoy downwind trips to Sidi Kaouki.

On average, it takes 6-10 hours to become independent (riding the board). Our intensive courses are designed to get you there in a week.
We offer Semi-Private (2 students per instructor) and Private (1-on-1) lessons. We avoid large groups to ensure safety and fast progression.
If the wind is too light, we can switch to surfing or reschedule the lesson. We only charge for the hours actually taught.
